This is an asynchronous, self-directed course - not an all-day event on May 3.

Participants can begin and finish the course at their own pace.

The Quality Online Design Institute (QODi) was established to provide faculty at Eastern Illinois University with a professional development opportunity to improve the quality of online education and student learning. QODi is for faculty that have met the online teaching policy requirement at EIU and have taught a course online at EIU. As you complete QODi, you will redesign portions of your online course using the Quality Matters standards for online course design.
 

Prerequisites:

• The instructor must be a current Unit A, Unit B, or an Adjunct faculty member (including administrators and staff) at EIU.
• The instructor must have developed and taught an online course at EIU for a minimum of one semester within the last three years.
• The instructor must have met the online teaching policy requirement at EIU prior to enrolling in QODi.
