Booth Library invites the campus and community to join us for part three of a new speaker series launched this Spring semester, Authors@EIU. Our final Spring, 2024, event will recognize two recently published EIU faculty:
Stephen Eskilson, Ph.D., Art & Design
Digital Design: A History, Princeton University Press, 2023
and Ryan Burge, Ph.D., Political Science
The Nones, Second Edition: Where They Came From, Who They Are, and Where They Are Going, Fortress Press, 2023
The event will be held in the Library’s West Reading Room beginning with a shared reception at 5 p.m. Presentations will begin at 5:30 with introductory remarks, author presentations, and question & answer sessions for each author.
All members of the Charleston and EIU communities are welcome, including students.

Six authors are featured in three Spring 2024 Authors@EIU events to celebrate the research, scholarship and creative success of EIU faculty who have recently achieved publication of a book. Previously featured authors include Scott Meiners, Ph.D., Alexis L. Jones, Ph.D., Julie D. Campbelll, Ph.D. and Bob Klein, Ph.D.
